About

Contains isoquinoline alkaloids including chelidonine with choleretic and antispasmodic effects. Liver function: hepatotoxicity documented.

Provides hepatoprotective effects via antioxidant enzyme induction (GPx, SOD), NF-kB suppression reducing hepatocyte apoptosis, and cytochrome P450 modulation. Choleretic action stimulates bile flow and composition benefiting lipid digestion and hepatic detoxification.
