Proprietary formulations containing adrenal cortex extracts (bovine or ovine), adaptogenic herbs, B vitamins, and nutrients targeting HPA axis regulation and adrenal fatigue. The concept of "adrenal fatigue" is not recognised as a medical diagnosis by endocrinology societies. Adrenal cortex extracts may contain variable amounts of cortisol and DHEA.
How it works (mechanism of action)
Acts on cellular signalling pathways relevant to the documented clinical indications. Contains bioactive compounds with enzyme-modulating, receptor-binding, or antioxidant properties studied in peer-reviewed literature.
Adrenal cortex extracts may contain undisclosed amounts of glucocorticoids — risk of iatrogenic Cushing syndrome. May suppress adrenal function with long-term use. Immune suppression at effective cortisol doses. Contraindicated in: diabetes, osteoporosis, glaucoma, peptic ulcer, systemic infections. Not for use in pregnancy. "Adrenal fatigue" not a recognised diagnosis.
