Do I need leucine if I eat enough protein?
No — 25 g whey already provides 2.75 g leucine. Isolated leucine is useful when protein quantity is limited (elderly, hospital meals) but unnecessary with adequate protein [1] [2].
Is leucine better than BCAAs?
