About

Organic germanium (carboxyethylgermanium sesquioxide) has immune-modulating and anti-cancer properties. Inorganic germanium is nephrotoxic.

How it works (mechanism of action)

Acts as structural component of enzymes and cellular architecture, or as electrolyte regulating membrane potential, fluid balance, and signal transduction. Cofactor for metalloenzymes involved in antioxidant defence, energy metabolism, and immune function.
