About

Diosmin is a flavonoid from citrus with venotonic and vasoprotective effects. Used for chronic venous disease and haemorrhoids.

How it works (mechanism of action)

Modulates cardiovascular function via eNOS activation for vasodilation, inhibition of platelet aggregation, and venotonic effects strengthening venous wall integrity. Antioxidant effects protect LDL from oxidative modification reducing atherosclerosis progression.
