🚫 Contraindications & Warnings

IMPORTANT MISCONCEPTION: diosgenin is NOT converted to progesterone in the human body — only chemical laboratory synthesis. Topical wild yam creams are NOT equivalent to progesterone. Oestrogenic effects: diosgenin has oestrogenic activity — caution in hormone-sensitive conditions. Drug interactions: hormonal contraceptives.
