🚫 Contraindications & Warnings

Same general cautions as calcium supplementation. Phosphorus load: relevant in chronic kidney disease (CKD) — avoid or limit in CKD. Drug interactions: reduces absorption of fluoroquinolone and tetracycline antibiotics, iron, and thyroxine — separate by 2 hours.
