About

Meriva combines curcumin with phosphatidylcholine for 29x improved bioavailability vs standard curcumin. Used for OA and inflammation.

How it works (mechanism of action)

Inhibits key inflammatory enzymes (COX-1/2, 5-LOX) or transcription factors (NF-kB, AP-1) reducing prostaglandin, leukotriene, and cytokine production. Some activate PPAR-gamma nuclear receptor mediating anti-inflammatory gene transcription.
