Vitamin D toxicity: hypercalcaemia at very high doses (>10000 IU/day chronic). UL: 4000 IU/day (USA) — many practitioners use higher doses with monitoring. Drug interactions: thiazide diuretics + Vitamin D — hypercalcaemia. Granulomatous disease (sarcoidosis, TB): may cause hypercalcaemia at standard doses. Calcium channel blockers: monitor.
