Chlorophyll
Green pigment from plant sources (spinach, alfalfa, stinging nettle). E140. Fat-soluble. Well-absorbed. Used as supplement ingredient and natural colourant. Also studied for wound healing, deodorising, and antioxidant properties.

Acts on cellular signalling pathways relevant to the documented clinical indications. Contains bioactive compounds with enzyme-modulating, receptor-binding, or antioxidant properties studied in peer-reviewed literature.

Generally very safe. Beeturia-like effect: green/black discolouration of stools and urine. Photosensitisation at high doses (topical). Drug interaction: anticoagulants at very high doses (Vitamin K analogue structure — theoretical). Generally safe as colourant.
