About

Modified carnitine forms: acetyl-L-carnitine (ALCAR) for cognitive function and neuroprotection; propionyl-L-carnitine (GPC) for peripheral vascular disease. ALCAR crosses blood-brain barrier; propionyl-L-carnitine particularly studied in PVD.

How it works (mechanism of action)

Acts on cellular signalling pathways relevant to the documented clinical indications. Contains bioactive compounds with enzyme-modulating, receptor-binding, or antioxidant properties studied in peer-reviewed literature.
