About
Natural biologically active ALA isomer with greater potency vs racemic mixture.
How it works (mechanism of action)
Directly quenches reactive oxygen species (ROS) and reactive nitrogen species (RNS) preventing oxidative damage to DNA, proteins, and lipids. Activates endogenous antioxidant defence pathways (Nrf2/HO-1) and regenerates or spares other antioxidants through redox cycling.
